ELECTRIC CIRCUIT
- A closed and continuous path in which electric current can flow is called a circuit.
- When a circuit is broken, the current cannot flow and hence the circuit is called open circuit otherwise it is called closed circuit.
- A circuit is made by joining various electrical components such as bulbs, switch, power source (battery or cell), etc. and these are connected by joining them with connecting wires. The symbols of various electrical devices to be used in a circuit is shown below.
